Under this offer, the first purchase of Rs 1,000 the customer was issued a passbook and after that on every purchase of Rs 500 the customer was given a sticker of Golden Bird. The customer could redeem these stickers for assured gifts based on the total number of such stickers collected. It was applicable on the SKUs including the ones already discounted.
Through this offer, the company has been able to generate interest in private label products as well as standalone and comparatively smaller format stores. During this period, almost all the company stores witnessed heavy footfall and garnered revenue ~ Rs 700 crore.
