Late 2003, Gold Course Road saw major activity reported for the period 2006-08. DLF and locals developers like Senior Builders are active along this stretch. DLF South Point (200,000), DLF Mega Mall (281,000 sq ft) along with forthcoming Metro World are the main destinations.
Development of one stop malls combining mixed use concepts – integrating retail with entertainment, hospitality, residential and commercial space development boomed on NH 8 – Border-IMT Mansesar. Ambi Mall and Star mall are the main attractions. DLF’s Mall of India, the largest mall under construction may go live from 2012 onwards.
Sohna Road saw development from 2006 onwards from developers like Omaxe. Specialty Mall developments along the stretch – a unique concept. Omaxe Gurgaon Mall (142,856 sq ft), JMD Galleria (67,487 sq ft) are the best places to hang out.
