Lifestyle Brands In Great Demand

VF Corporation, which has a joint venture with Arvind Brands a wholly owned subsidiary of Arvind Mills is planning to introduce more Lifestyle brands from global portfolio in India.

The VF Arvind Brands have popular retail brands such as Lee, Warngler, Nautica Jansport and Kipling in India. VF is bullish about India's growth and now plans to introduce Northface, Vans, 7 For All Mankind and Napapipjri.

Mr. Kanchan Pant, MD of VF said,
The critical area of growth would be retail expansion. We will look at getting a robust and expanded distribution going. We will also scale up brand equity. Although we have solit foundation already, there is scope to grow our business.
Arvind Brands has recognized the appetite of apparels in Tier-II Indian cities and non-urban areas. They see a big opportunity for their brands in such areas and is all set to cash in on the boom.
